Positioned on the water's edge with stunning views across the lake, families and friends can enjoy a break in this beautiful property, surrounded by nature. Spend time together cooking or relaxing in front of the TV in the expansive open-plan kitchen/dining/living room or enjoy drinks on the terrace while watching the sunset over the lake. The Lark Ascending is perfect for a visit in any season, with the use of the on-site outdoor heated pool, spa and gym included with the stay.

The property has parking for 2 cars, EV charging and a large enclosed garden.  Up to 2 dogs are welcome at this property. 


Access to the Hurricane Terrace bar, spa, heated outdoor pool, gym and activity equipment is included, offering plenty to do while staying at Baxter's Rise 11.  Inclusive equipment hire includes bikes and water equipment such as paddleboards and kayaks, subject to availability.  
Also on site is a well-equipped gym, a luxury spa offering a variety of holistic and beauty treatments and a takeaway pizza shack along with a new Hurricane Pop-up serving rustic dining options, which is open during peak season.   

Whilst this property is fully completed, there are some properties nearby that are undergoing construction in various phases. Bookings for this property are made on the understanding that you may see and hear construction, machinery and workers from 0730 to 1800, Monday to Friday and 0800 to 1300 on Saturdays. On the ground floor is the stunning open plan kitchen/dining and living room with large windows overlooking the deck, garden and lake beyond. The kitchen offers all mod cons with ceramic worksurfaces and high quality appliances including a large Siemens fridge/freezer, induction hob and 1.5 ovens and a Miele dishwasher. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother and a microwave.  A breakfast bar area offers seating for up to 4 guests.

The living area includes luxury comfortable seating and a flat screen TV, while the dining area comfortably seats up to 8 people.  

Also on the ground floor is bedroom 4 with twin beds, a TV and a separate shower room/cloakroom, and there is a useful boot room/utility with separate washing machine and tumble drier.  This room has separate access from the side of the property - perfect for dusting off sandy toes or dirty paws. A stairgate is provided at ground floor level.

Upstairs are three en-suite bedrooms - one king, one super king and a twin room.   

The master bedroom, overlooking the lake to the rear, offers a super king bed, an ensuite shower room and a balcony with table and chairs that is accessed via sliding doors.

A second bedroom also with water views to the side and rear has twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with hand held shower.  A third bedroom has a double bed, and ensuite shower room and a Juliette balcony with views to the front.  

Outside to the rear is a decked area and grassed gardens leading to the private jetty with steps into the lake.  On the large deck is an outdoor dining set for 8 and a gas BBQ for guests' use.  The large, fully enclosed garden is particularly appealing for those with young children or pets.

 

Check in is from 4pm. Check out at 10am.

The property is self-catered. The house is fully equipped with cutlery and crockery. A complimentary welcome pack that includes locally produced jam, teabags, two hot chocolate sachets, coffee, sugar sachets, biscuits and a pint of milk will be provided for your arrival as will a starter kitchen pack including a bin liner, dishwasher tablets, a tea-towel, sponge and washing up liquid.  One toilet roll per bathroom is also provided to ensure you are equipped on your first day.

Bed linen, hand and bath towels, are also provided. If you suffer from allergies please contact the office for further information.

This property is pet friendly (2 dogs maximum please).

The property also includes EV charging.

Access to the spa and outdoor heated swimming pool is included. 2 spa passes will be in the property upon arrival (contact the Spa directly for opening times). 01305 819909

A travel cot and highchair is available for hire at an additional cost.  Please advise at the time of booking if these are required.  Please note that no mattress is supplied for a travel cot.  The mattress required for the cot available is maximum 910mm x 620mm x 20mm.

Finding your Property
Drive through the second set of gates into Silverlake after entering the site; and look for a sign for Baxter's Rise and Shepperd's View on your right.  Take the second turning on your left and follow the road to the end to a small cul-de-sac.  Baxter's Rise 11 will be on your right hand side.  There is private parking for two cars at the property and the key safe is by the front door.
